Rosângela Ap was born in 1977, in São Paulo, Brazil. She got her B.A. in Visual Arts (2009), the Licentiate in Visual Arts (2010), and the Master of Arts in Visual Arts (2013) at the Arts Institute of UNESP. She obtained the CAPES Scholarship (2011-2013). She received the Graphical (1996-1999) and Interiors Designer (2001-2003) at ETEC Carlos de Campos. She is Teacher of Basic Education II – Art (2011-), in the Education Department of the State of Sao Paulo, and Adjunct Professor III (2013-) at Universidade Paulista (UNIP). She gives lectures about art and technology for educational and cultural institutions. Since 1996, she participates regularly of exhibitions as artist. Some of her works are present in the collection of the Musée de l’Elysée (Lausanne, Switzerland), the Grafisk Vaerkst (Naested, Denmark), the Brazilian Association of Artists of Collage (Sao Paulo, Brazil), as well appear in print and online catalogs. Award: Finalist of the 'Concorso Internazionale di Arte Digitale Visiva "The Brain Project 2006"', promoted by Associazione Acquamarina supported by Direzione Istruzione Centrale, Culture, Sport e Pace della Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia, and Credit Cooperative del del Carso, having her work published online and in print in the 'Top 30' award. She was member of the research groups cat - science/Art/tecnology, IA-Unesp/CNPq (2009-2014); GIIP - IA-Unesp/CNPq (2011-2014) and 'Barroco Memória Viva: da arte colonial à arte contemporânea' (Baroque Live Memory: from Colonial Art to Contemporary Art)(2014-2016), IA-Unesp/CNPq. Currently, she is member of Research Group "Pesquisa em Educação Estética" (Research on Aesthetic Education), IAR-UNICAMP/CNPq. Since 2011 she is member of ANPAP (National Association of Researchers in Arts), and in 2016 she was invited to Advisory Board of Revista Anastasis. Research in Medieval Culture and Art.
